This is a fascinating 18th-century violin, labelled Joseph Odoardi. It features a two-piece back with a faint medium curl, with sides made of similar wood. The head has a broader curl, giving it a distinctive look, while the table is crafted from fine-width grain wood. The violin is finished with a beautiful plum-red varnish over a golden ground, which enhances its historical charm.
